The Isle of Wight has been a popular holiday destination since Victorian times and appeals to visitors both young and old and has a wealth of award winning Blue Flag beaches. The natural heritage of the island is rich in both wildlife and geology, being one of the few places in England where the red squirrel is flourishing, they are regular visitors to the feeder in our garden.


Ideal for cyclists, there are 322km of cycleways on the island, including the Sunshine Trail, Troll Trail and around the island routes. We offer safe undercover storage for bicycles.


For walkers there is over 200 miles of well maintained footpaths and almost half of the coastline is designated 'Heritage coast'. Inland walkways are home to some rare wildlife and fauna. From Tennyson Down there are spectacular views across the island. We have many walking books offering short walks to the entire coastal footpath.
